1. What we collect
- Order requests and sign-ups: your name, business name, email, phone number (if you give one), city, notes, what is in your cart, any coupon or referral code, whether you ticked the optional box to be called or texted, and the page you came from and campaign tags in the link. We also save your browser type and a one-way coded version of your IP address (not the address itself) to prevent abuse and spot duplicates.
- Contact form: the name, email, phone number (if you give one), business or domain and message you type into the Contact Us form, your browser type and a one-way coded version of your IP address (to prevent abuse). The message is saved in our lead list and a copy is emailed to our team. We reply to you by email and do not add you to any mailing list.
- Accounts and support: your name, email, a scrambled (hashed) password, invoices, and the messages in your support tickets.
- Setup information: when you order services, the details we need to deliver them, such as your business name, address, hours, categories, logo and photos, contact details, and the email address of the directory or platform account we should connect to.
- Domain searches and lookups: the domain names you search for. These are sent to our registrar and to public registry lookup services to check availability and price.
- Chat assistant: the messages you type into the site assistant, which are sent to our chat service (chat.zu.gy) so it can answer.
- Email and calls: messages you send us, and notes our team keeps about your order.
2. Cookies and similar storage
We use only our own cookies and browser storage. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics or tracking tools on this site.
- siteria_sid (cookie): keeps you signed in and protects forms. It lasts until you close your browser.
- siteria_promo (cookie): remembers a promo code from a link you opened, such as GO50, for up to 45 days.
- siteria_ref (cookie): remembers a referral code from a link you opened, for up to 30 days.
- Browser storage: your cart, chosen coupon and search choices are kept in your browser (local storage) until you clear them. Contact details you type into our forms, and your chat conversation, are kept in your browser tab (session storage) and are gone when you close the tab.
3. How we use it
To answer you, prepare and confirm your order, arrange payment, register domains, build and run your services, provide support, keep our site secure, meet legal and accounting duties, and, if you gave consent, to call or text you about your order or our services.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to deliver what you ordered:
- Our domain registrar, Resell.biz, and the registries and ICANN, which receive the registrant details needed to register and keep a domain, as the rules of ICANN and each registry require. See the section on WHOIS and contact data in our Terms.
- Hosting and email providers, including DreamHost, which host our website and your site and webmail, and store the data our systems keep.
- Directories, search and AI platforms (such as Google, Bing, Apple Maps and Yelp) when you order listing services and we submit your business details to them. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Lookup and tooling services that receive domain names only, such as public registry (RDAP) servers, DNS lookups and a domain value estimate service.
- Our chat service at chat.zu.gy, which receives the messages you type into the assistant.
- Others when the law requires, such as courts, regulators and law enforcement, or to protect our rights, or if our business is sold or merged.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order requests, account and support records for as long as we need them to provide services, keep business and tax records, handle disputes and meet legal duties. We do not currently run an automatic deletion schedule. You can ask us to delete your information (see below), and we will do so unless we must keep it, for example invoices and records that a registrar, registry or the law requires.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask for a copy. Email us and we will reply. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law, and we will honor those.
- Unsubscribe: you can opt out of marketing emails or texts at any time by emailing us, or by replying STOP to a text. The call-or-text box at checkout is optional and is not ticked unless you tick it.
- You can clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as your cart, will not work without them.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
8. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We post the new version here with a new “last updated” date.
